Major Post Jam Updates


The team is excited to announce that for the past two months, we have been hard at work improving the game experience 🛠️ Here's what you can now do!


Maze Upgrade 🛣️

In the game jam, we used one predetermined maze with sharp corners that got players lost. Now...

  • The fish path is more visible.
  • The maze is randomly generated (with correct tiling too!).


Light Upgrade 🕯️

Light is such an important mechanic in our game, why wouldn't we upgrade it?

  • Use left-click as well as E to summon lights.
  • Summon light at the cursor position rather than the player position.
  • Light illuminates with feathering and particle effects.
  • Light slider and health merged into one, to easily tell the health you have left.


New: Focus Mechanic 💭

"The maze is so difficult!" We hear you. The devs decided to be nice and made a mechanic that helps you find your way!

By right-clicking or pressing F, you can sense your surroundings, to locate which direction the exit is at, and how far you are from the exit.

Not to say that it's a one-path solution.


Visual Updates ✨

It was hard to bring much flair within three days, but the devs wanted to tinker, and as a result, the game has...

  • Post-processing flair.
  • Silhouette against the clouds!


We aren't done 🔥

We still have a couple of mechanics we want to bring to the table. We're dedicated to improving this small game to the fullest, as it's a great learning experience for us too!
